OHESDC Welcomes Delegation from CSII to Washington, D.C.

On October 7, 2026, the Office of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation at the Royal Thai Embassy, Washington, D.C. (OHESDC) welcomed a delegation from the Chulalongkorn School of Integrated Innovation (CSII), Chulalongkorn University, during October 5-7 visit to Washington, D.C. The meeting focused on international networking and opportunities for collaboration.

The delegation, comprising Professor Suchada Sukrong, Ph.D., Executive Director; Dr. Phakjira Leelertphan, Deputy Director for Administration and International Affairs; Ms. Daria D. Dmitrieva, Senior Global Engagement and Public Relations Officer; and Associate Professor Natcha Thawesaengskulthai, Ph.D., Senior Advisor, met with Mr. Thitidej Tularak, Minister-Counsellor for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation, to exchange information on CSII’s activities and discuss potential cooperation with U.S. academic institutions. The delegation also met with representatives of DC Startup & Tech Week (DCSTW) to learn about the startup and technology ecosystem in the DMV region and the upcoming DC Startup & Tech Week 2026, scheduled for October 19-23, 2026.

The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen networks between CSII, Chulalongkorn University, and U.S. organizations and institutions, supporting future cooperation in higher education, science, research, and innovation between Thailand and the United States.
