TechFW ThinkLab Accelerator Program

The ThinkLab startup accelerator is a personal investment into the foundations of technology ventures and skill development for founders. This 12-week program is particularly beneficial for businesses starting out and assisting in formulating a ‘napkin idea’ into a fully realized business model. Each week there is a virtual meeting and will include guest speakers from the TechFW network throughout the cohort. Here is a link to apply for the program.

Additional Details:

• Schedule: The schedule is weekly on Wednesdays from 5 pm to 8 pm CST. (5am to 8am Bangkok Time) This year the program starts September 13th, 2023 and will run through November 2023.

• Platform: Zoom is used for virtual sessions and Dropbox is used for sharing documents and weekly homework assignments.

• Cost: $1,000 covers the cost for one company for the entire cohort.

• Break: There is a break each session starting around 6:30 pm for 20 minutes.

• Materials: The only thing to bring is a learner’s mindset, a note taking system and willingness to work. There is a lot of information to cover and after each week you will have access to all the slides and visual used in each session.

• Founder must sign the client engagement agreement which includes a mutual non-disclosure agreement.

Thai Startup Association Member Only

Once, you've read the Admission Criteria and Workshop Content,

you may apply directly with TechFW at their application portal.

Fall 2023 Program Start Date: September 13th, 2023

Apply By: August 31st, 2023

Apply sooner than later as TechFW is accepting applications on a rolling basis.

They need time to screen the applications and set up interviews.

Once you have completed your ThinkLab application with TechFW, notify Thai Startup Association and keep Thai Startup Association updated on your application status.

Let Thai Startup Association know as soon as possible once your application has been selected by ThinkLab.

Office of Higher Education, Science, Research, and Innovation, Royal Thai Embassy, Washington D.C., USA (OHESDC) will cover the program fee of $1,000 each for up to 5 Thai startups.

If more than 5 Thai startups have been selected to participate in the ThinkLab program, the Thai Startup Association will decide on which 5 Thai startups will receive funding from OHESDC.

TechFW representative will help those who are selected with the onboarding process and orientation. The program is virtual, so the participants must be committed to attending all the workshops and completing all the assignments.

The 5 Thai startups who receive funding from OHESDC must complete the assignments from ThinkLab and send their business model and program/experience report back to OHESDC.

More information about the report and pitching presentation will be sent out toward the end of November 2023.
